MindTech Labs Pty Ltd (ABN 97 673 071 700) ("we", "us", "our") is an Australian private company located in NSW 2153. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. What Information We Collect

We collect minimal personal information:

• Contact form submissions — your name and email address when you use the contact form on our website
• Email correspondence — any information you voluntarily provide when contacting us by email
• Exam simulator purchases — your email address, collected at the time of purchase via Lemon Squeezy, is used to create your exam account and deliver your access link. We store your email address and a record of your purchase in our database.
• Exam session data — your answers and score are processed server-side to calculate your result. We do not store your individual question answers after the session ends.

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. We do not collect browsing behaviour, IP addresses for profiling, or device fingerprints.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your enquiry or service request (contact form)
• To authenticate you and grant access to paid exam content (magic link email)
• To verify that a valid purchase exists before serving paid content
• To communicate with you regarding your purchase or account

We do not use your information for marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making without your explicit consent.

4. Third-Party Data Processors

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We use the following third-party processors, each bound by their own privacy policies:

5. Data Storage and Security

Purchase records and user accounts are stored in a Supabase database. Access is protected by:

• Row-Level Security (RLS) — users can only read their own purchase records
• Server-side authentication — exam content is never served without a valid, server-verified session
• TLS encryption in transit for all data between your browser and our services

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access.

6. Data Retention

Purchase records are retained for as long as required for accounting and legal compliance purposes (minimum 7 years under Australian law). If you request deletion of your account and associated data, we will action the request within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.

7. Overseas Disclosure

Our service providers operate outside Australia. Supabase stores data in Singapore (AWS ap-southeast-1). Cloudflare operates globally. Lemon Squeezy operates in the United States. By using this website and purchasing our products, you acknowledge that your data may be processed outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas handling meets a standard comparable to the APPs.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate information
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and purchase records (subject to legal retention obligations)
